Aspens provides help and advice for children, young people and adults living with a range of disabilities and autism in East Sussex.

CLASS+
CLASS+ works across East Sussex supporting families of young people with autism. It offers a weekly advice line, signposting, support groups, training for parents and short pieces of home based support for school aged children.

Home Start
One-to-one support and group work to increase confidence, safety and independence of local children and families who have experienced adversity.

Care for the Carers
Practical and emotional advice face-to-face or by phone, the charity runs support  groups, training programmes and events across the county. The charity can link you up with other carers and support you to meet new people.

Young Carers
There are more than 3,000 young carers in East Sussex alone and it is important these young people know they are not alone. East Sussex young carers offer a range of support interventions including in school support, signposting and workshops.

The Sussex Mental Healthline is a 24/7 telephone service offering listening support, information and advice to anyone experiencing difficulties with their mental health. It offers support to those who may be in crisis or distress and in urgent need of help with their mental health.

Child Bereavement UK
This service helps children, parents and families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies.  The service supports children and young people up to the age of 25 who are facing bereavement, and anyone affected by the death of a child.

Citizens Advice
This service gives people the knowledge and confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are and whatever the problem. Here you can gain advice on debt and money, benefits, housing, law and immigration.

The new forum for parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities in East Sussex. The forum tries to ensure that every parent carer in East Sussex feels their voice and views are heard and that these contribute to improving and developing services.

Open for Parents
Open for Parents provides strategies, support and advice through the Triple P programme. Friendly practitioners offer courses, one- off groups, brief one-to-one support, drop-in sessions, tips and advice to help parents raise happy, confident children.
